About

Real name: Chris Cowie

X-Cabs is one of around fifteen aliases used by Aberdeen producer and DJ Chris Cowie, and one of his most successful alongside Vegas Soul. Cowie set up the dance labels Hook Recordings and Bellboy Records in the early 1990s and produced most of their output under his various names. He is also known for his remix of ATB's Don't Stop, which reached No. 3 in the UK.
