Founded by Thomas P. Heckmann in December 1998 and based in Mainz, Wavescape is the successor to his previous label Trope Recordings. Specializing in hard and dark Techno, the label has acted mainly as a vehicle for Heckmann's own EBM-influenced productions under various pseudonyms.
