About

Real name: Matt Gall

ThirdWave aka Matt Gall released his first four singles with the Greenwich Record Company Label Spinners. His style has been compared to that of Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk for his weaving melodies and pumping trance style beats. Matt Gall also records using pseudonyms including The Afterglow with his brother Simon and remixes tracks in many different styles including ambient,… Read moredisco, house and hard house. ThirdWave is Roland's official UK and European Master of the Groove: the UK competition finals were judged by Hybrid (the Welsh massive) and John Digweed (Bedrock/Twilo). The European finals were held in Frankfurt and saw ThirdWave fend off contenders from all over Europe to take the prize. The panel of judges included DJ Tiësto, DJ Taucher and Kai Tracid who swiftly negotiated the international license of "Then Comes Night..." for his label Angel Dust/Tracid Traxxx.
