About

Members: Balint Tihamer, Vladislav Radulović

Electronic music duo from Serbia, created in 2000 by Balint. Vladislav joined in 2005 and the project became more active. Styles include goa trance, psy-trance, chillout and ambient. The founder of the project, Balint Tihamer has continually followed the development of electronic music since the 1970s; starting Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream to new wave music from UK and works of Kitaro,… Read moreVangelis and Jean-Michele Jarre. The other member, Vladislav Radulovic entered the world of trance music in 1994 and experienced the at the time popular goa trance sound. He joined the project in 2005, and they had their first performance together the same year at the Exit 05 Festival. The explosive development of electronic music in the 90s resulted in the creation of several subgenres. It is Balint's view that goa trance combines the past, present and future of electronic music and it was the reason that Balint got into the music business again, after a long period of absence. When it comes to Balint's personal style, he would refer to it as one containing the complexity of full-on style and spirituality of the old-style goa music. The project is making an effort towards creating complex, yet easy to listen to and dance to music. Besides goa/psy trance, Goasia also does chillout music. They have performed all over the globe. From sunny Brazil and big festivals like Universo Paralello, across Europe with festivals like Samsara, Aurora, Antaris, Freedom Power, Misterika, Cosmic Gate and Forest Quest. As well as club events from Moscow to Israel and regularly in Japan.
