career paths including remixing and graphic design. I started learning Photoshop just so I could create all of the CD Artwork. I also started my remixing career by restructuring every song I played to either cut out a dropout, add new beats or fully create new songs in what we called "Synergy Mixes" - the precursor to Mash Ups. I still marvel at what I created in those early days. Sometimes I cringe hehe but mostly it's good :) We wanted to create a CD series that had exclusive music and remixes you couldn't find anywhere else. DJs from all over started using our CDs and mixes in their sets. Any remix with "MIXX" in the name is one of my personal or exclusive edits. Back then I used to go by the name DJ Phenomenon (from my early days of mixshow DJing back in Virginia) I never fathomed that anyone could just use their original name as a DJ, especially one as "complicated" as Martorano, until I heard about Susan Morabito. We also knew we were doing a bootleg series so we had to keep it on the DL. Later on we changed it to just DJ Jeremy with no last name. Thank you to Nestor and Joseph!!0 releases
