About
German composer, born November 17, 1928 in Halle (Saale); died May 22, 2004 in Berlin. The title song of German TV character "Sandmännchen" is probably the most popular composition made by him. He composed several other (communist) youth and children songs and a few soundtracks for East-German broadcasting company / DEFA.
